We’ve all made at least one of these mistakes. And what’s a good thing about making mistakes? You can fix them, grow from them, and even use the experience to your advantage!
Here are most common life mistakes young people make
1.Eating alot of junk.
2.Believing everything on TV.
3. Spoiling relationships/Not creating good relationships/Dating wrong people.
4. Caring what other people think. If you live your life to impress your friends or other social groups, you will never reach your full potential.
5.Entitlement. You have no experience. There is no shame in starting at the bottom and working your way up. If everyone was a VP and made 6 figures, nothing would ever get done.
6.Going to College. Can hardly wait for the comments. I’m not saying to never do it. I’m just saying if you have no clue what you want to do, why waste time and energy pursuing nothing. Education can be expensive, make it count or invest in something that may actually have a return.
7.Not saving. Compound interest!!! works best over time. The more time the better. Start saving now and life will be a whole lot easier financially when it gets tougher physically. Get a financial adviser when you get your first job.
9.They are addicted to porn/alcohol /cigarette/drugs/masturbation.
10.Mobile phones are controlling their life.
11.Comparing themselves to their peers
The fact about life is some people will always be better than you and others will always be worse than you, it is okay. Accept it. The problem about comparing yourself with your peers is, you start getting jealous, develop a low self esteem, low confidence and generally you will think your life sucks.
12.Mistake of Trust
Most young people don’t know whom to trust and when to trust. They trust wrong people who play smart, who take them for granted. They distrust the people who are honest and truthful, since such people are rarely smart.
13.Don’t value their parents advice. So ignore because they assume Technology and Google know better.
14.Dwelling on mistakes you made
There’s a big difference between learning from and dwelling on mistakes. Consider this: you either learn to fail or fail to learn. Making mistakes is a normal part of life. It’s how you approach them that matters.
15.Not dumping toxic friends
Be brave and do this. Some friendships are not meant to last. Toxic friends need to be dumped ASAP.
16.Spending too much money on something extremely unnecessary.
17.Avoiding love to focus on your career instead. If you happen to fall madly in love in your 20’s and it wrecks your career growth, so be it. Don’t dump her. You have to eventually get married anyways.
18.They try to fool themselves with, ‘I am not going to turn out to be that next door old guy’.
19.Giving up as soon as the going gets tough
Life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to push forward even when times are tough.
20.Trying To Please Everyone. The desire to be a favorite one is inherent in all human beings. However, the truth is there are always people who do not like you and what you do. There are always those who are constantly ready to criticize and hate. Do not let them break you.
